When I saw this I was thinking about how one of Trump’s problems is that all the l33t meme-smiths from 2016 are now eight years older and are thus cringe to the younger generation.
Triggering the libs had its moment as a strategy but the further we get from Gamergate it just doesn’t seem as big a part of internet culture.
It feels like the younger generation is actually making the internet… less toxic? Granted it’s a pretty low bar, and I am incredibly out of touch with the younger generation, but it at least seems like a thing.
I feel like everyone knows Elon is full of shit and he will pivot like mad if Trump loses. If Trump does lose it could really be, at least for a decade or so, the Tragic Death of the Republican Party.
Apparently just got a local Salt Lake City reporter fired for offering to buy just banned books for kids who wanted to read them. Maybe there’s more to the story but nothing’s come out yet.
