Tesla home battery walls might get more affordable if utilities start subisidizing them in order to use them as a Distributed Energy Resource that they can use to flatten the usage curve. Pay to put them in someoneâs house and require them to allow the utility to control when the house pulls energy from the battery instead of the grid until it is paid off.
