There is too much schadenfreude itt given even when Musk loses $44b he will still be a billionaire but his destruction of twitter is going to have serious repercussions for all of us and is another significant blow to western democracy.
There is nothing to celebrate here.

I was an early user of twitter and quit years ago, I don’t miss it at all. Any tweet I need to see is repeated here by someone.
Making some silicon valley corporation the defacto public square for discourse was an extremely dangerous and we’re lucky it’s imploding through incompetence.

Musk spent $44 Billion on Twitter. The World’s population is 8 billion. He could have given each person $5 billion and still have money leftover. I feel like a cheque for $5 billion would be life changing for most people. Yet he wasted it all on Twitter.
