A states rights congress and scotus will certainly discourage trump from this overstep.

Any chance we can merge the two Trump threads?

I think they each have a separate purpose, the other one could maybe use a retitle to clarify that it’s more for discussion of his upcoming Administration.

Sure, but since the new chapter has already begun, might as well lock the other one and just discuss here, as there is still plenty of overlap among the posts.

Only a non-native Texan would make a billboard like that. See what you can find out.

I know it was out by weatherford on i20. Looks like the owner of that lawn garbage business sign because there is a finger pointing down from the sign. So I suspect they did it over their own sign.

Has to be a yankee transplant.

Lots of people really, really are morons!
It has to be said. It’s true.

You hate to see it.

These guys are the same age.

He’s right about 2nd George Washington. He’s the new first president of the lawless era. But at least he doesn’t own slaves…yet.

Not looking good for this bet.

A trail of documents, corroborated by the accounts of former colleagues, indicates that Hegseth was forced to step down by both of the two nonprofit advocacy groups that he ran—Veterans for Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America—in the face of serious allegations of financial mismanagement, sexual impropriety, and personal misconduct.

A previously undisclosed whistle-blower report on Hegseth’s tenure as the president of Concerned Veterans for America, from 2013 until 2016, describes him as being repeatedly intoxicated while acting in his official capacity—to the point of needing to be carried out of the organization’s events. The detailed seven-page report—which was compiled by multiple former C.V.A. employees and sent to the organization’s senior management in February, 2015—states that, at one point, Hegseth had to be restrained while drunk from joining the dancers on the stage of a Louisiana strip club, where he had brought his team.

Well, I’m sure he’ll be fine running the Pentagon.

I mean, ive seen Archer
