It’s a pain in the butt to collect on judgements, but this is an ideal collection case. He’ll pay the full $5M or his property will be seized by the sheriff and sold at auction until the judgement is satisfied, including attorneys fees. She’ll have a lien on Trump tower among other things. If he appeals he’ll likely need to post a bond for the judgement (not sure of NY law on this).

In b4 the Trumpy juror claims he was coerced into voting against Trump.
Meanwhile there is a recent poll where 1 in 5 of the people who said he should face charges also said they would still vote for him over Biden.

Does it matter politically now that a jury has found Donald Trump liable for battery and defamation against a woman who said he assaulted her sometime in the 1990s? In a better world it would matter, but in the debased and polarized American politics of 2023, it may not.
