All this fuss over a story that would have barely moved the needle if it had been released during the campaign.
People are pointing out that the DA only promised to give the name of the first witness to Trump. And now itās public. How did that happen? What is Trump going post before tomorrow?
Probably? Maybe? Wasnāt the timing near the end of the campaign right after the āgrab them by the ā¦ā video came out? Might have reinforced it or kept it in the news longer.
If I were the DA and I didnāt want to reveal future witnesses to the defense I might leak the Pecker info myself. Everybody already knew he was going to be testifying and heās situated where it wonāt impact his life very much, and now they can not reveal any more witnesses.

Idk. They had no obligation to reveal the witnessesā order of appearance in any case, so thereās no need to play games. And anyone can be pressured. Even US senators were afraid for themselves and their families when they had a chance to convict Trump.

Itās hard for me to imagine a lot of Turmp voters getting super mad at his marital infidelity.
What prevents hostile witnesses from using the āI donāt recallā when it comes to incriminating Trump during testimony?
I get the perjury aspect, but isnāt whatās in a personās memory a hard thing to prove?
Thatās when you hit them with the āhere is your deposition, please read for the court what you said about this.ā

Yeah theyāre not trying to get new evidence from people on the stand. I believe trial attorneys try to never ask questions to which they donāt already have the answers.
