I would try to get on a jury but I am not married and have no kids. That would make a huge difference to me. Lots of wackos out there to take up the defense of sleepy Don.

True, but you would also not be impartial. Anybody with a brain who truly has no preconceived notions about this (if those two things can possibly coexist) would/should run for the hills.

Itās obviously a problem. I voted for trying to get on the jury, but if the news reported my stats in as much detail as the others Iād be furious. Theyāre out here posting employment data, marriage and family status, age, education, current neighborhood residency, and birth place. Why not just publish full names and SSNs while theyāre at it. Removing employment data still wonāt be enough.

How much personal information you have to read aloud in public was probably the biggest eye-opener of the jury selection process for me. You could theoretically tell the judge that you did not want to answer in public, but thereās definitely a level of unspoken peer pressure to just go ahead an answer the questions in front of everyone. When someone wanted to answer privately, the judge, both attorneys, the stenographer, etc., all had to pick up their things and go in the back, and everyone waits for them to return.

So basically every juror is lying to get on the jury in order to further their cause. Defense only has to go 1 for 12. EZ game.

At this point, if i were previously selected, i think Iād drop out. If the new jurors have less personally identifying information out there, the wackos would have more time to focus on me
If it were the insurrection case or even the classified docs case, Iād stay in and do my patriotic duty to the republic. But Iām not risking my life for a porn star payoff that probably ends in a fine and citation
