Yes, correct, that’s the way the Dirty D establishment looked at it. You see the Dirty D House members negotiated intricate deals w/ their R counterparts to funnel money to the business interests of the local districts of the most powerful Dirty D House members.
But the Dirty Ds in the Senate negotiated deals for business interests on a statewide level for the most powerful Dirty D Senators.
Thus, the results of the carefully crafted corrupt negotiations in the Senate would then conflict with the carefully crafted corrupt negotiations of the House.
Ergggh, how annoying!!! Thus, members of the House and Senate were bigger enemies than Rs and Ds within each body. Harharhar.
Sorry I couldn’t watch with y’all, I was too busy hosting an 80-person Team Pete debate watch party. No enthusiasm there, though
@riverman, if you actually did follow, you’d know that Pete has over 200 pages of white papers on policy, but because the media doesn’t spoonfeed it to you, I guess that means it doesn’t exist, right? some of it is even more “progressive” than Bernie! gasp
You all seem to have this idea that anyone who is for another candidate must hate Bernie. Guess what, I don’t, and neither do most people I’ve talked to in real life. I personally think this whole narrative the media is spouting about “The world vs. Bernie” is stupid and unrealistic. I will happily vote for Bernie if he is the nominee.
I will not lie and tell you that I don’t worry about his health or longevity.
I will not lie and tell you I like his oratory style.
But I don’t think he’s a sexist, or a racist, or any of that bullshit coming from the Bernie haters. And I don’t think “everyone hates him” like Hillary said.
If anyone on here still has even the slightest open mind, please give this a read.
one last note…fuck these debates. watch town halls for every candidate if you want ideas about policy.
Re: Pete, the reason I don’t know any policy proposals is because he speaks exclusively in empty platitudes. You’re good people and I don’t want to fight.
Fwiw it’s not that he’s racist so much as his views on race and on what works politically are outdated. Even this year he was ignorant enough to say with indended sincerity ‘all, lives matter’. That’s just not woke enough for the current political moment. He should have had the maturity to listen to the concerns of the communities he needed to build a coalition of. Instead he comes off as tone deaf at best from imo just hubris. He clearly hasn’t taken thd tiem to understand th electorate. Thats why he’s losing.
Claims that tickets to last nights debate were $2.5k+ and that Bloomers brought people to intentionally boo the other candidates. Glad the DNC lets anyone with an open checkbook into these things. DNC lackies going on Fox News to spread hate because Democrats aren’t supposed to go Fox when their name is Bernie Sanders. #unity
