Eh. He’s got at least some equity. Maybe not a lot but he’s not close to drawing dead. Elizabeth Warren has a LOT of equity (I think she’s got 60%+ all by herself) so there isn’t that much to go around after you take her into account. Yang’s got a healthy slice of the remainder. He needs a few really good breaks, but we’re talking about 2-3 really good breaks not 5-6. It definitely could happen.
I’m def becoming a Yang hater even though UBI is an interesting idea. This clowny shit is annoying, wear a damn tie your job interview.

I’ve only met him once briefly but I know a few people who worked for him (even had dinner at his house with his family a few times) and they all say that the Yang we are seeing is him just being himself. I think that is why he resonates with so many people.
Some of his antics annoy me too but I think he is a genuinely good guy.
He also knows that the debates are not a job interview. Its a WWF match.

I‘m not catface, but I share the sentiment. Heard him in Freakomomics and was massively turned off. I believe the exact words in my head were :“sure this sounds exactly like the nerdy technocratic economist bs Dubner loves but that guy sounds far to awkward to normal people.“ I was turned off by both his personality and his policies.
