I think this is about right, because I’ve seen this movie before. The Dem party in 1972 cheerfully watched McGovern shit the bed and were fine with Nixon winning a second term, for about the same reasons they’ll do it again with Bernie - too much money, jobs, and grift at stake.

Harris totally needed some bashing, let’s be real.
It’s really wild that anyone running for president doesn’t have a canned answer to “What are ya gonna do about climate change?” I get that the Yang Gang are sort of one-issue voters, but that just seems super unprepared.
Plus, this is the sort of thing Silicon Valley techbros are supposed to be good at: handwavy galaxy-bran solutions to big problems. I guaruntee if you asked like Elon Musk or whoever the same question he’d give you an elevator speech about his plan to build giant orbital solar arrays to power the Earth or something like that.
I’m pretty sure that his WAAF answer was prepared, that’s the thing.
I mean sure? I wouldn’t be a prosecutor, because I think there a lot of unjust laws but that’s not disqualifying for the vast majority of people in this country. Her job is to fight for the people of San Francisco, and the people of California. That’s based on the laws that are there, even ones she disagrees with (she took high heat for not giving the death penalty in a cop killer case, and still won re-election plus was elected AG with the scandal listed below). Here was the analysis of Joe’s big gotcha moment:

The fact that people outside of CA treat it as some kind of secret withheld from the voters just doesn’t make sense to me.
While a lot on this board probably think she took major hits from people like Gabbard, I doubt it will play that way to most people. They’ll think she’s tough or it won’t move the needle. It’s not like that many people were watching anyway.
