I mean we can see why he disappeared. The best that can be said is Lol olds don’t understand technology. We have a president that can’t handle a camera. At best. At worst we get a demented ignoramus who through no accident finished in the bottom 10% of his class at Syracuse Law.
If this leads to Trump and Cuomo duking it out, well at least we’ve all been primed

There’s a case to be made that the best chance of getting Trump to do some of the right things is to coddle his ego and not be confrontational.
Of course, I prefer being confrontational and laying down markers so that Trump has to admit to being wrong in order to do the right thing.
Yeah… but then he won’t do the right thing and you’ve got blood on your hands because of your own ego.
This is the bind Trump puts well meaning people in all the damn time. You have to manipulate him or all hell will break loose, and he won’t allow himself to be manipulated unless you stroke him. So unless you’re fine with being a monster you stroke him.
Maybe he won’t hit me tonight if I congratulate him on only drinking 12 beers.

Yup. And you can’t leave him because he’s the most powerful man in the world. Those of us who have been in similar situations we legally couldn’t escape are fucking horrified believe me.
Several times a year I have to baby talk some asshole who is intent on costing both of us five figures off a ledge. Usually it involves telling them that the spectacularly stupid thing they did wasn’t that wrong somehow.

Just going to come here everyday to lol at the enablers in this forum that made this happen. Biden is going to lose to trump is blatantly obvious to the point where no one can argue it. Thanks guys. Appreciate it. Glad we have this guy mumbling around instead of a guy that wants to revamp our public health infrastructure.

Expand on this. Who are the enablers in this forum and what did they do to make this happen? I’m as disappointed as you in the result, but I think some of the analysis of what went wrong in this primary has been way off on this forum.
What we’ve learned is that the Democratic establishment was going to do everything they possibly could to prevent Bernie from winning the nomination and that despite a massive fundraising and campaign infrastructure advantage he still was unable to win over enough supporters to overcome this. So knowing what we know now, what do we go back in time and change that results in Bernie winning?

Was reading posts from election night 2016 in the 2+2 SE politics thread. It was crazy to see how I was freaking out and basically laying out exactly the bullshit we have seen with Trump as President and being told by a bunch of even supposedly liberal posters to calm down because no way could any of this ever happen in ‘merica.
