I thought he went plenty hard at Clinton, he just started so far behind it was very difficult to win last time. This time him and Biden were leading in the polls a year plus before the primary and Bernie was pretty far ahead of Biden right before SC. My anecdotal sample is from my community center. Largely older, nonwhite city dwellers and I would say most were uncommitted amongst the dems but for some reason Bernie didn’t win them over. I think he could have if he didn’t do stuff like attack the DNC. That played poorly with older minorities in the south who always hear about the “corrupt democrats” from racist whites. It’s definitely a dog whistle down here for republicans to complain about urban districts with black representatives.

Yeah I had money on Biden on Betfair, I just cashed it out, his lay price is 1.14 at the moment so I took a bit of a hit, but I really think there’s a substantial chance he is not the nominee.
