I think you’re selling Klein a little short here. His whole schtick is “here’s a quick summary of what you need to know to understand issue X”. Of course he’s not going to write any mindblowing pieces of insight in that format.
I don’t have any that jump out at me at the moment. On occasion on here I’ve recommended episodes that I thought were good. I’ll see if I can come up with a few and get back to you.
FWIW, pre-Obama Klein was almost a different person
I know that us youngs can still die/get really sick from this, but don’t see why we should fret if the olds want to SPIKE THE CURVE on themselves. They are people w/ a lot of problems, murderers of our future, rapists of our planet, and some, I assume, are good people.

My guess is that the DNC is freerolling todays primaries. If Biden wins, they will stand. If Bernie wins the DNC will nullify results because “national emergency situation prevented too many people from being able to make their voices heard. It is only right that we re-do these primaries in June”. And nobody will stop them.

Bernie needs to amass delegates in case sleepy joe goes off for the last big sleep. He’s basically tied in delegate with 1000 more still up for grabs and the states he won aren’t fully counted yet. The polls have been consistently wrong and people having been swinging back and forth between candidates like crazy. Lots of old people are gonna die very soon and while we can all make fun predictions no one knows how this thing is going to play out. It’s really not over.

One other thing… this really should be the end of the GOP.
To recap:
Since 2000 they’ve been in power 12 out of 20 years and they’ve presided over the biggest successful terrorist attack on American soil, 2 idiotic wars against people largely innocent in that terrorist attack (I realize that Al Quaeda was operating out of Afghanistan, but Saudi Arabia was vastly more responsible than the Taliban…), two ‘once in a generation’ economic collapses, and now probably a pandemic that they mishandled as completely as humanly possible that will end with 1M+ dead Americans. We’re staring down the barrel of a tragedy like this country hasn’t seen since the Civil War and it was bungled by a guy who was impeached and was acquitted right as he started fucking it up.
If they somehow survive this it’ll be because the Democrats threw the game. If they throw this game I think I’ll be done with being politically engaged tbh. This is going to be my last straw.
You’re talking nonsense to make yourself feel better. Bernie is not “basically tied” in delegates. That is a preposterous lie. Biden leads 898 to 745, so if it were a two person race, then Biden would lead by 10. According to NYT, 97% of California’s delegates have been allocated. Bernie didn’t win any other big states, so what late votes will rescue him? The polls have not been consistently wrong. It is over, barring some major health crisis for Biden in the next week or so.
