I talked to my 91 year old grandma last night half tossed for 3 hours. She ripped on Trump, Republicans and a few family members that like Trump. It was refreshing. She’s been in a room in her retirement home since March lol. She is supposed to get a vaccine early January though.

Problem is that I’m the only person who has occasional access to her phone when in America. If she couldn’t find or open it, it’d be way too obvious that I did it given how aware she is of my politics. She sucks at technology but she can put 2 and 2 together.
I’d like some light trolling for lolz but that might feed into the right’s tendency to play the victim every time somebody slights them. It actually might be what some deplorables look for.
The moderators of this message board, otatop, L.Washington, WichitaDM, Yuv, JonnyA, RiskyFlush, and SvenO, are cowards who let abusers dox and harrass other long time posters.

Was it confirmed if the zip tie mamas boy was the owner of that coffee company? (Checked it out, it wasn’t the owner or one of the employees. So I guess that twitter crowd sourcing thread had it wrong.)
Had three separate conversations today with three different Trump supporting friends. (Yes I’m asking myself why I have three Trump-supporting friends.) But anyway, my point is we are all fucked. They’re hopeless. One is convinced the election was stolen. Another thinks Biden is the bigger racist. And the last one is worried about “China”. Fuck. These are just rank-and-file Trump voters, not really militant about it. And armed insurrections don’t move the needle an inch with them.
The task before Biden is just impossible…literally impossible. How do you unbrainwash these people? I dunno. Just had to vent…but this is depressing as fuck. We’ve always had political differences within the country but I always had the sense we were pulling generally in the same direction. I fear those days are done forever.

It’s all over but I used to think it was going to take a long time, then I thought sooner but at least we have 4 to 8 years, now I doubt we make it 2 years before the country is practically unlivable and/or the government is overthrown.
