Based on my FB feed, he’s also built up a pretty strong base among moderate/conservative folks in the MidAtlantic and NorthEast who think their states shut down too hard and have been regularly heading to Florida over the past year for warm weather, restaurant dining, and Disney. Heck, I personally know three people from high school (in MD) who had never lived more than a 20 minute drive from their childhood homes who have all packed up and moved to Florida in the past 6 months.
