I am trying to imagine how this would work in Germany:
„Chris, we should not teach the history of the holocaust in our schools. It is just going to antagonize non-Jewish and Jewish Germans and that whole antagonism keeps Jews from moving here in the first place. So by stopping to teach about the holocaust we can make Germany a more welcoming place for Jewisj immigrants. But teachers unions want to keep them in Israel. They are basically responsible for the conflict in the Middle East.“
Does not sound that much more bizarre actually.
