Seattle is a huge summer destination since its god damn beautiful there in the summer. Fears that tourism might trigger a next wave?
I love seeing the huge protest crowds but fear the waves from this.

If it makes you feel any better the waves were probably coming no matter what. Better to try and accomplish something in the streets causing it than Chili’s and Lake of the Ozarks.
As far as the data so far today there are a couple interesting things. Arizona with another 1k+ day backing up yesterday’s data as not just a fluke. Utah, Arkansas and North Carolina with new all time highs as well another large Florida data day. We did narrowly miss a 7th straight day of growth in the 7DMA by about 300 cases Thursday but yesterday went right back on the increase having the largest number of cases since May 1. Today looks very likely to again be an increase in the 7DMA.
Anecdotally news from my wife’s ICU is mixed. Two weeks ago they had zero Covid patients, One week ago 3, Today 5. Whether that is noise locally or not will need a lot more data than that. The interesting thing is her hospital is using antibody rich plasma on the most critically ill patients with some success.
So one reason we may see cases rise and deaths fall at least for a while as we move forward is the hospitals have more tools now at their disposal than March and possibly are saving some lives through stuff like this they didn’t have 2 months ago.

Our county went to yellow.
We scored a very isolated outdoor table at the local watering hole. They have some tables together in the front. We are at a 2-top along the side with no other tables within 15 feet. Occasional foot traffic on the sidewalk.
