Was just typing out something very similar. Sasse’s argument makes no sense.
i have an idea, if they do play, pay them? I still think they shouldn’t, but they should get paid if they somehow do play.
This probably disastrous for Trump if there’s no college football, I think Sasse gets that.

Right now it’s sources saying they voted 12-2 last night to cancel/postpone the season
It should still be out there and in ESPN so maybe they are waiting for official announcement
I mean, people around here are absolutely losing their shit over high school sports maybe not happening. I assumed that an OSU cancellation would generate more anger, but maybe I’m wrong.

DP was told an hour ago that the Big 10 and Pac 12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow… The ACC and the Big 12 are on the fence… And the SEC is trying to get teams to join them for a season.
Of course the SEC is the conference that wants footbaw the most.

Trump should support this considering all the jerbs it would create.
Old Dominion becomes the first team in a conference (C-USA) to unilaterally call it quits. That’s 14 (or 28 if you are counting the Big 10) dominoes down.
They need to understand how horrible a playoff season is with no outside conference games by anyone and entire conferences missing.
Oh cool Alabama LSU Texas A&M and Georgia are the final four for a national playoff. Cool cool.
