College Football 2024: Hail to THE Buckeyes

def showed a couple good ones

I mean, I agree with some of that :man_shrugging:

Ohio State guy was definitely coached to just grab the receiver in that spot. Zero downside.

He’s had issues doing that all year for penalties, so I doubt that was deliberate.

But if it was, kudos. Similar to what Oregon did to Ohio State in the first matchup.

This sucks. I am gonna have to root for ND to beat Ohio aren’t I?

College football (at least D1 championship contender level) is almost always heel vs heel. Just a question of who you hate more.

yeah at this point I have to pull for OSU just because all of the other possibilities are more deplorable

just want to remind everyone that texas’s best regular season win was (squints at notes) A&M, they played exactly ONE team in the top half of the conference and lost to that team twice.

Did they lose to Vandy?

I’ve been going through applications to our PhD program, and I just read an essay that complimented our respected athletic program. Either a very weird dude or a ChatGPT fart or both.

Which athletic program?

THE athletic program.

This is a hint. Think about NFL player intros and the people that always say THE all obnoxious in front of their school name.

Which sport? They didn’t say. Which program? Our school. Maybe I don’t understand your question.

Yeah which school. I thought maybe it was Vandy or Brown or something.

So I guess the weirdness is complimenting the athletic program in general in a PhD application?

Yes that’s the weirdness.

I’m not doxxing myself but I work in higher education in the state of Ohio.

hahah you got me old chap, the program I personally root for which has won four hundred rangz in the last 10 years had a new coach this year and didn’t get a natty in his first year, I am absolutely devastated how will I go on good job buddy
