It shouldn’t be surprising that the better teams are winning at home.
It’s why the women’s basketball tournament has the 1,2,3,4 seeds advancing to the sweet 16 very frequently.

EZ money
refs in the tank for OSU
vols are lowdown and dirty and some snitches but OSU is just completely morally bankrupt, ryan day is a grade-A shitbag (probably the 2nd worst person in college football only behind huge freeze) and I’m in no way pulling for the vols but I hope OSU loses
asteroid strike ONE TIME dealer
espn3 has behind the quarterback video telecast with skycam with radio commentary
lols have arrived
can’t help it, gotta LOL VOLS
This was just a year there should’ve been eight teams max.
if you don’t auto qualify teams, six?
Asteroid hitting a horseshoe would be one lucky strike.
Eh maybe but i predict this will become a yearly refrain, we all know there are ~never 12 teams worthy of even a shot at a rang, let alone possessing the ability to obtain it. We may see a Cinderella here and there because of busted seeding, luck, refs, etc but few and far between
There should never be byes because no team “deserves” one. Just make tournaments base 2 and live with it. Eight was always the correct number but there’s a larger problem at play with the unbalanced schedules and CCGs. Like, why are we playing 13 games if we can’t get the teams / seeding right from those games?
Indeed, this year FCS only had the big four and the fifth was solid but huuuuuuuge gap to everyone else after that. Sometimes it just has two. They have a 24 team playoff.
Indiana wasn’t this bad vs Ohio State
Yeah you have byes to make the regular season matter.
Imagine giving up 14 pts to OSU couldn’t be me
