I know this is a troll, but the treatment of Franklin by PSU and the media compared to Harbaugh is ridiculous.

Franklin’s title was ludicrously lucky and driven by a generational RB. His OLs are jokes and QBs die there.

Before Harbaugh got his title, he was one play away from going to a B1G championship (2016 - JT was short, 2018 - Maryland misses wide open 2pt conversion). Franklin fucking hasn’t had a >.500 conference season since 2019. Franklin has only been above .500 in conference 4 times. That only has happened to Harbaugh once (2020 - which shouldn’t count).

Yet Franklin gets no heat nationally. It’s ludicrous. And so is his contract.

Yes, but making fun of Jim Harbaugh and Michigan fans is a ton of fun and most people have barely even heard of Penn State. More seriously, Franklin was a quality football player in his own right, and football fans tend to give have more respect for coaches who actually played the game themselves.

Hairball is better coach. He just ended up as 2nd best in talent to tOSU multiple times and struggled to replicate his (Andrew) Luck.

He’s had a couple of spectacular fails as well.
