College Basketball 2022-23 Season Thread

Yeah the numbers hate us too much and that loss to Duke was horrible

Really crummy draw for PSU. But I’m in the just happy to be here mindset

Seth Davis follows up his first idiotic TWELVE FIVE take with an even worse one: Saint Mary’s losing to VCU lol

Nevada in, so either Providence or Rutgers about to be very disappointed.

LOL graphics fail.

Oh god, I said the one team I didn’t want to see round 1 was Providence. Calling it right now, Bryce Hopkins balls out on Kentucky and Kentucky fans lose their minds since he transferred from UK last year.

Seth has reached peak idiot: another pick—this time Louisiana over Tennessee.

Duke will crush Tennessee if Louisiana doesn’t so whatever

Duke has a nice little draw

This suit from the NCAA selection committee looks like a Westworld villain.

Seth is doing ALL the drugs.

LOL

TFW you’ve been arguing Oregon should have made the tournament and their first round NIT opponent is a Big West team that blew them out.

Was anyone seriously doing this? I don’t even think they should be a 1 seed in the NIT.

I kind of was. If they had beaten UCLA in the Pac 12 semis they would’ve absolutely deserved to get in.

They were playing with 6 scholarship players for part of their OOC schedule and couldn’t have been more than one win away. 19-14 with five games against Kenpom top 4 plus two against 2-seed Arizona. (That’s seven games tougher than Pitt’s toughest)

If they had had an NIT quality roster in Nov and Dec and had played an average ooc schedule they have 22 wins and 100% get in.

No

Someone explain the rationale for the playins not being for 16 seeds? I could see maybe some of the weaker conferences taking up the 16 seeds, but playins at the 11th seed don’t make sense to me, but there may be a rationale.

$$

Half of the play in games featuring known teams is more $$
