Princeton doesn’t seem that well coached to me. They have the gimmick off-ball double screens they run through to create the patented backdoor cut, but they’re kind of a mess switching on defense and Creighton is getting almost everything they want. If you’re Creighton, how are you not prepared for these backdoor plays?

Coach K’s genius was figuring out that these players are so fucking bad that it’s impossible to consistently win playing straight basketball. There’s no team that can go six games without shooting 3/39 from three and losing big. You have to game the refs and shoot infinite free throws which are the highest expectation shots in basketball. He would have been a great American flopkick coach, squeezing out tons of PK equity from box-edge flops.

Fouls in the last 2:00 should have option to take time off the clock. Teams with the lead don’t foul enough because it feels dirty and seems stupid (it is) but it’s totally correct.
