Hmmm. Now I feel dumb haha. If it was that game I was recovering from some minor surgery so I’ll blame that. But yeah, it doesn’t make sense to have them both out there given their skill sets. Hurley’s strategy of giving Sanogo a blow around the 13/14 minute mark seems to be going just fine.

Just got back home. Fun experience, first time going to an NCAA tournament game. Nothing too extraordinary one way or the other, was about what I expected.

The B10 never had any top end talent but rather one very good team and a bunch of solid teams. Yeah they had eight teams but only two were higher than a six seed so 1 team making it to the top 16 isn’t exactly a severe underperformance

They are. ACC was in jeopardy of losing their streak as the only conference to have someone in the Sweet 16 every year since the tournament went to 64 teams in 1985.

yeah ACC sucked this year - but they have 8 titles since the last time a B1G team won one - so much easier to rule it out as just having a down year

B1G also had 7 2nd place finishes in that time. Obviously that isn’t the championship but you’re framing it as if they weren’t competitive at all, which is simply false.

Yes, I’m a B1G slappy and yes my school did make it to the 'ship while I was in school there only to ultimately lose to UNC. :man_facepalming:
