we didn’t think he would be bad at the time.

Republican or lack of background as a prosecutor?

Way too into norms and shit

Also Republican. Come on we’ve been burned by Mueller, we can’t be so dumb again.

They don’t get credit because the never talk about it. Their best megaphone right now is a Vice President running a national campaign for President, who with numerous openings to do so, never rattles off accomplishments of the current administration. (Other than the occasional mention of insulin prices).

“Why haven’t you done x in the last 3.5 years?” “What would you do differently from the Biden administration?” “What would you do to fix the economy?” are all openings for you to list off accomplishments that help people.

Perfect example of this:

Rebranding the ACA to “Obamacare” was accidentally a genius marketing move.

She talks about it all the time. The press just doesn’t report it because it’s boring and no one cares.

Also Trump is literally running ads where she touts Biden’s record, because they’re trying to push the vibe that the last 4 years have been a hellscape of inflation and gas prices.

She can’t win.

Maybe it’s in her stump speech which nobody listens to. For her biggest audience at the debate, she didn’t mention anything for over and hour and then mentioned insulin. She has no ads that I’ve seen touting accomplishments that have helped people.

People’s standards for Kamala are unrealistic. She’s been a way better candidate than Hillary or Biden in much tougher circumstances and is doing much better than most of us would have predicted before Biden dropped out.

I’m firmly in the camp that she’s done a great job making her case and if the country picks Trump it’s just confirmation that we’re irredeemable as an electorate and political system.

The bridge is operated by the state. I doubt the feds had anything to do with getting it going other than maybe supplying some money.

They supplied basically all the money.

Nah it’s feds. Feds fund highways at 9 to 1 or higher ratios to the individual state

That bridge is part of the Interstate Highway System, but even projects that aren’t part of Interstate system or US Hwy system are sometimes majority funded by feds. Even transit sometimes.

Everything I can find says it’s a state bridge.

I’m sure the feds provided money but all the actual work would be state level I assume.

Your assumption is wrong

Based on?

The website is all Maryland transportation authority.

Based on you’re not an expert on all topics known to man just because you can Google

Emergency projects like this are basically always coordinated by the Feds
