In my experience this is true of the senior staff (VPs+ in my organization who just want to check boxes on their to do lists and get their bonuses) but not true of the actual data analysts who join the organization and want to get data sets to find insights. So I guess there is some hope that as the actual data analysts age up in organizations they will bring smarter data practices with them. Or large corporations will train the sociopaths to manipulate data to drive terrible outcomes. One of those two things.
