Sunflower Blues-Nice little song enjoyed it.
East Wes-Nice little song enjoyed it.
Lingua-Appreciate it, but not going to get my vote. But a cool song for itās category.
Lady-I swear I didnāt go into this to duplicateā¦butā¦appreciate it, but not going to get my vote. But a cool song for itās category.
Hurt-Still a little upset Hurt beat my Gary Clark submission. I canāt objectively argue that my Gary Clark submission is greater than Hurt. Hurt by Cash is transcendent. But thought the point of this was to avoid transcendent songs, and go for songs less heard of.
Fairport Convention-Songs that rely fully on lyrics donāt do much for me. But if it does for you, Iād check this out.
My vote is sunflower and east wes
Jack Rose definitely gets a vote.
Not completely sure of the second one. Leaning East Wes, but might change.
Awwww, I didnāt know Meatloaf won a Q-ie
I feel like Johnny Cash should be DQād. Thatās like submitting Citizen Cane to a new movies competition.
Seems harsh to be calling for Johnny Cash to be DQād when Bat Out of Hell is literally the song thats spent the longest time in the charts ever.
*completely unbiased view obviously
No oneās sent me any gimmick logins yet, so my hands are tied.
More fake news as far as I can tell. Sad!
(Album might be second to Dark Side of the Moon, depending on how you count it, I think.)
((Looked at the actual charts, the UK ones, obv.))
To be fair I specifically didnāt penalize certain categories in my walrus for submitting popular songs since popular music was sort of the theme. In retrospect perhaps I should have because it would have been more satisfying for your song, which I loved, to win that category as well as having a different winner for the category that Gotye won but those were the rules and I stuck by them.
People who object to the Loaf are probably resigned to AM radio rock ruling on this forum.
I did vote for Meat Loaf, but only because the group was very weak. Itāll be wrong if that song makes it beyond the Sweet 16.
I missed out on voting but zero chance Meatloaf would have gotten my vote.
Alright I tried listening to this song in a dark hotel room and I legit got freaked out and had to turn it off. That probably means I should vote for it but I donāt want to have to put myself through the experience of listening to it again.
This is a bad post.
Programming note - Iāll close out 2 and put 3 up tomorrow morning my (euro) time.
This is a bad post.
Sounds like one definition of good art to me.
Here. are the gold medals so far.
"This has been fantastic revenge,ā she says. āIf everything ends tomorrow, I already won.ā
My favorite quote from one of her interviews.
