Bailout criteria…

Start with Warren’s criteria
For every dollar spent on bailing out businesses a dollar has to be spent in direct cash handouts equally distributed amongst all Americans.
None of this is going to add to the debt. We should literally just print it all.

The best thing to do is just ship every single individual person money in perpetuity. We can tax it back from rich people. Giving the money to corporations is a guaranteed shit show.

I’m a government ignoramus (actually just an ignoramus in general) but why for this package has the House ceded the bill writing to the Senate? Why doesn’t Nancy pass another bill in the House and send it to the turtle?

for some reason the dems all seem to think that if we make corporations pay sick leave and loosen unemployment restrictions, that’ll take care of everyone.

The previous bill the house got out in front and controlled the narrative and the senate essentially swallowed it.

Conversely the senate then immediately jumped out on the next proposal and the house has dragged their feet releasing anything, ceding the ground to the GOP Senate, as of now/

I’m with you, and things are going to change so much between now and then. I imagine whole industries are going to disappear. Dems are not having a good start here. And it is the start of this mess.
