So since the DOE holds student loans and this order creates no avenue to move those loans elsewhere, I contend that its time to stop paying said loans.

If I knew I owed the IRS money I’d debate filing taxes this year, lol. what is going on is really difficult to explain because it’s very self destructive
I am sure it will be difficult for the feds to sell 2 trillion dollars in debt that cannot be discharged in bankruptcy. What a boon it will be.

hundreds of billions of dollars of student loan debt are already held by private lenders. Pre Obama era changes in the Direct Loan program it was largely a private process. Lenders will jump at the chance to buy it. In many ways it is better then secured debt.
In most states your wages can be garnished buy any debtor.
He can react when people get mad enough. I guess that’s something but if the heat comes off a little I expect he’ll go back to useless mode.
