Link TL;DR is I thought he called you guys anti-Semites too but after re-reading the PM he wasnât calling anybody an anti-Semite. I also think the PM was sent out of legitimate concern but it was worded poorly for its intended audience.
Thatâs tough to do because we only have 3 active mods. SvenO hasnât been here in almost 3 months and JonnyAâs been MIA for a little over 2 weeks. Good thing we voted to end mod rotations

I tried to post about it last night when I was out on the town but my posts got deleted by a supermod. Maybe it was that pontifex Maximus thing that beetle juice is always on about.
I think they wanted the persons name out of your post. You can tell us what you think without mentioning the name though. I think his PM was fucking insulting. Try to read it from the perspective of who he is addressing.
I went back and read the first post in the PM chain. I see what you are saying about the suggestion that the posts in question could have been some kind of troll campaign organized with the addressees of the PM. I donât read it to suggest that the recipients are antisemitic, but the phrasing is weird and I see how it could be interpreted that way.
For me the context of the PM is important. It does seem like a real effort to try to help another poster. And the fact that the PM was addressed to the posters who could rightfully feel slighted as well as two mods makes me think that the intention was not to attack these posters. To me it would make more sense to do that in a post to the open forum or a PM that didnât copy the mods.
Note that this is not an invitation for people to start copying me on abusive PMs.

I donât myself think the intent was to attack the recipients. That actually makes it worse imo. And this person who started the PM was also involved in another PM that he opened (I think) to âhelpâ somebody which led to a bunch of confusion and somebody else claiming that people were attacking his mother, when the mother in question was somebody elseâs mother â another person in the PM. This was all proven via discussion and shared images of the posts in question, yet for some reason this other person still claims people opened a PM to attack his mother.
