The original 2p2 Politics forum was literally shutdown over all the moderation drama, culminating in this site being setup by a subset of that community. The moderation drama here is a continuation of the same forum culture that led to that outcome – it is not a unique UP dynamic.

It’s funny that I post mostly in sections that in real life, draw lots of arguments. Sports, movies, TV, video games while I largely don’t post in politics as a non American. Those are things people get heated over in many places online. But here, people are largely really nice about it? You have rival fans wishing each other gl in here, something you never really see in most places.
