Who would have guessed that once Trump was ousted, everyone here would turn on one another? I’m not even a leftie, I came along here for the mutual hatred of Trump. It’s just like prison - a group/gang exists and is defined by their enemies. As soon as those enemies are gone, new ones are found; and those new ones are usually sub-groups of the original group.
For me, this forum is a fascinating study in sociology, if for no other reason than to demonstrate that highly intelligent and educated people are prone to the same cognitive biases and faults as I am. Or maybe even a couple more.

It could be implicit collusion without coordination if people are being triggered by the same stimuli into engaging in flag wars.
For too many people, If you got nothing good left to hate, you’re stuck hating with equal passion your friends who can’t bench press 250.

I really don’t think anyone’s personality changed when they came here from 2p2, or when Biden won.
Everyone has posted how they always have and nearly every conflict has been entirely predictable.
Thanks for pointing this out. I changed this to 100 and set the resulting timeout to 1 hour. I feel like if 100 users flag a single post, something probably has gone completely off the rails and a timeout is worthwhile.
