Not as far as I know though I wasn’t following it in as much detail as some.
His links were generally well sourced but he even got banned one time for posting something in too small a font lol.
And then there was the dreadful BEE BEE CEE incident which was deemed to be an unreliable source.
I’m not saying that church didn’t run a few wind ups wrt infection rates Uk v US but there were substantive posts there, and a lot.
I don’t remember his name either but I think he hails from 30 miles west of Hereford
I don’t believe the fault can be assigned 50/50 or anywhere close to it.

Sure but what value is assigning a score? Let’s say it’s 80/20. How does that help us with reconciliation?
It should help us understand why one side won’t just agree to “well, both sides acted less than perfect so just let bygones be bygones”.
Apart from that you don’t seem to recognize that there are irreconcilable differences in how users think this site should be run. If there is a reset and everybody magically forgets everything that happens, then we will only start the game anew.

You’re being very, very naive to think most ever wanted reconciliation.
The 2020 about moderation feuds were one side of “any bans/exiles/losing members is awful.” Now we have glee from that side that the people being trolled for 2 years have finally said “fuck this I’m out.”

I’m sympathetic to folks who feel they were wronged but that guy trolled the shit out of that thread for months/years. Needling and taunting people with “neener neener more of your citizens are dead than mine” and then feigning being aggrieved when you get the response you provoke is weak and shouldn’t be retconned into some noble info sharing imo.

You’ve got the wrong idea about who those people are, for various reasons. Lack of following closely, and the way one side was more covert, for starters.
Y’all have no idea how vicious the PM attacks and the following around was from the side you think are adults. Because one side reported everything and the other didn’t.

Just look at the recent posts and the change in tone for when Churchill etc were threatened with bans vs the people who have recently been run off.
The tone and word choices are completely different, from people who said its terrible for anyone to leave, be banned, chased off etc. AQ saying “disciples” of goofy is a prime example.
Utterly shameless. I said well over a year ago you were going to win and this was the only conclusion possible. You’ve won! This is the end of There Will Be Blood. Congratulations.

Anyway I’m glad my biggest UP bully is gone, I’m glad I got to rub it in his face a bit, I’m ready to move on, and I’m disappointed that people like @LouisCyphre , @Aofrantic , and @otatop aren’t ready. But I’ll be here when they are

Glad you’re glad because that’s all that matters, but that guy did teh trump bots, posted high content in programming threads, was generally pretty funny, good tv takes, and many other things. Very valuable member of the community, but glad you’re glad, that’s all that matters.
