I’m sitting outside watching an outdoor concert in my town square, which is formed on three sides by my apartment building, a second apartment building and the town library. I auto-use the library’s Wi-Fi to surf the web out here …

…except for 2+2, which it refuses to load because it thinks it’s an attack site. :joy:

I wanted to see the bicyclist make the jump.

Did I win this bet? Bellinger had a single, walk and 2 runs scored. Stanton had a home run. I’m trying to cash the ticket but it’s not going through. When I look online it says walks don’t count towards total bases which is bullshit to me if true.

You lost.

Total bases are hits only.

Man that’s some fucking horse shit. Dude touched 1B, 2B, 3B, and home plate 2x and he gets one fuckin base out of the whole thing.

It’s hard enough to find a place to pee in a lot of places in the USA. Europe, if you’re not going to have fast food chains that usually doesn’t give you too hard a time, you need public restrooms.

Good podcast ep on the topic.

That person is getting paid to keep the toilets clean and part of that is financed by the turnstiles. I never had an issue with it when I lived in Europe as toilets managed like that were always much cleaner.

just ordered Nate’s book

Yeah, the paid toilets internationally are usually great because they are being serviced regularly. Only annoyance is so many places are navigable cashless now, that it’s rare to have small coins on you, and I don’t think I’ve come across one yet that is tap to pay, although I’d imagine they exist.
