I have never listened to the Know Your Enemy podcast before, but I just had on the latest episode because Rick Perlstein was on it and I recommend it. The whole interview is good, but he is really cooking in the back half which incudes some great stuff on polling and how it is mutually constitutive with election discourse. Really think some of you guys would enjoy it.

Everyone loves the demographic shifts on this poll but these numbers make no sense unless Trump is up HUGE with “other” somehow.

Have to agree with cactus. Last terms Trump vs US is hands down the worst SCOTUS decision ever by a huge margin.
That was definitely pretty ludicrous, but consistent for a country that held it was ideologically ok to enslave another human being
Blanket immunity that allows an individual to be completely above the law (while maybe not as barbaric) I would argue is more ludicrous in that there are literally no limitations to what this person can do from outright assassinations of political opponents, to selling national secrets and treasures, etc.
Is it worse than not granting constitutional rights or installing Bush over Gore? No. But probably more ludicrous imo
