This Charlie Lindgren own goal needs to be seen to be believed - ESPN Video
Under no pressure, Charlie Lindgren somehow puts the puck into his own net to gift the Lightning a 4-3 lead over the Capitals.

How can u punt down 17 w 4+ minutes left?
After the first few morons decided that it wasn’t important to control the football crossing an undefended goal line, I figured players would be more aware and even reminded on game day to secure the football until u reach the back of the end zone. Nope, 2 in one day today. 9s there a similar blunder of this magnitude in any other sport?
Jets did it in the Texans game, they won that game so they should do it more often.
actually the guy that did that still has 0 career NFL touchdowns and may never cause he’s inactive for the Jets now, oof.
today was taylor of the colts vs the broncos and battle of the bengals against the titans though battle didn’t intentionally drop it, he was alone he just for no reason decided to put the ball in his other hand and lost it
every year there’s a new crop of players who don’t know not to do that, that’s why it keeps happening. Got to emphasis it every week, not just once in camp. Probably need the old, players boneheadedly screwing up huge plays segment arians would do every week on the cards.
also, people got mad when campbell onside kicked, as if they could conjure up some magic fairies if they kicked it off to stop the bills. Cause nothing else worked.
god that colts pick six on the reverse throwback to the quarterback was the most FPS play in years. They were down 4 in den territory in the fourth, on one play game over. That and the stupid drop is why they’re not in the playoffs.
a 300 lb guy did a backflip after a sack
players are just dumb, he was fine but you can get injured doing that.
Goff throws 5 INT Lions win
Goff throws nearly 500 yards 5 TD 0 INT Lions lose
First time in history.
The goalie shooting the puck into his own net is about the equivalent
LaFleur comes from the Mike McCarthy school of challenging calls if he doesn’t like the result of the play.
Aka “The Burrow”
there were 10 turnovers in that bengals titans game
Eberflus as well did this a lot. Wish LaFleur had the rest of Eberflus traits
Not really similar, since this type of goalie mistake is usually due to sloppiness, not hubris and showboating.
However, it wouldn’t be difficult to find a clip from any major sport where a celebrating/showboating player either draws a costly penalty or isn’t paying attention and allows the opponent to score.
How often does this happen? If a goalie shoots the puck in his own net in Winnipeg at 1:30 am EST and nobody sees it, did it really happen?
It happened a couple weeks ago. Only time I can recall.
