Waymo deserves it. Stop giving waymo money.

Woman is suing Fox Sports claiming Skip Bayless offered her $1.5M for sex, among other things. This whole complaint is insane.

TLDR, but Iā€™m finding this part a bit tough to believe. Like if she said yes heā€™d have wired her 1.5 million and had sex with her. Any more context on this part?

Everything else seems extremely believable.

Just barely thought better of making a ā€œwould/would notā€ poll regarding the situation.

Skip Bayless being a scumbag is the least shocking news ever. Definitely taking the over on similar incidents heā€™s been a part of.

It becomes more believable if you consider the possibility that he made a bet he could sleep with her.

I believe it. Skip is a creep.

Women in Tehran really seem over the hijab. I find this interesting considering they have been living under a religious dictatorship for the last 45 years.

I donā€™t have kids. Is this common in 2025? Seems depressing,

Thatā€™s called being a ā€œprompt engineerā€, the big employment opportunity for the future workforce.

I help my 15 year old daughter with her homework and my first step is almost always to just use Chat GPT.

This is Florida and they donā€™t have textbooks or even digital textbooks anymore, just the teachers ā€œnotesā€.

I think weā€™re cooked, tbh. Itā€™s not just the Gen-Alpha kids, fully-grown adults are proudly incapable of reading and writing without AI to help them. On the plus side, itā€™s never been easier to make a fake video of a celebrity eating spaghetti, so thatā€™s cool.

ā€œdoes the pain incurred actually teach muchā€

sigh

My son is heavily involved in his high schoolā€™s very competitive robotics team. They still have to figure stuff out. Hereā€™s what this yearā€™s competition will look like. They design, fabricate, build, code, the whole thing from scratch. Weā€™re near JPL so their mentors are in many cases literal rocket scientists. Hopefully being one of the last generations with critical thinking skills will help him?

The funniest dystopian thing Iā€™ve noticed recently is that clearly about 98% of speeches at things like weddings or funerals are mostly AI generated. These speeches have always been awkward and clunky, but now they are delivering the same bland, trite content in the the bland, flat tone of Chat GPT.

AI is going to create lots of jobs like building AI data centers and fighting in the clone wars!

I would assume itā€™s very common.

My have a sophomore and a senior in high school (second semester started today - canā€™t believe itā€™s my daughterā€™s last semester of high school). The school and teachers give strict warnings about using ChatGPT and for their essays, they usually have to copy them into a website that supposedly detects the use of AI.

Iā€™ve warned my son, in particular, to not cheat with that shit and I trust that neither kid does. I wouldnā€™t be surprised if they use it on occasion to help them understand something, but Iā€™m pretty confident they arenā€™t using it to do their work.

My son used to use ChatGPT when he was teaching himself to code. He was into making video games for a while - heā€™s passionate about music now - and if he got stuck, heā€™d ask ChatGPT for help. But of course heā€™d do most of it himself, as he wasnā€™t going to learn anything by using AI. And this was all just side project stuff, not for school.

Sounds like your son is using chatgpt to assist which seems like the proper utilization. Although maybe prompt engineer really will be the only human job eventually.
