Tyson was no good. They mentioned Canelo Alvarez I think and if Jake Paul is going to fight Alvarez then Alvarez should be a big favorite. Heâs a really good boxer who is only a few years older and not that much smaller.
This lady got arrested because her ten year old son walked to the store alone.

The cops had five hours to contact the d.a. to see if they would prosecute. You would think they would have done that and d.a. said to arrest her. Pretty absurd.
Cops routinely make arrests they are very certain the DA wonât prosecute. Their union will be like VOTE OUT THE WOKE MIND VIRUS COMMUNIST DA WHO DOESNâT PROSECUTE FOR 1 JOINT while they all are still making as many arrests as they possibly can on that and whatever else doesnât get prosecuted

apparently this town has only 500 people. i would be shocked if this isnât the result of some petty grievance someone connected to the police has with her.

Incredible story about a guy who made one bad business decision after the other, but lucked out every time. Like he sends a ship to sell coal to a big coal mining city, and when the ship arrives thereâs a strike going on and he can actually sell for a big profit.

Absolutely mental. Ten year olds in Prague take public transport to school by themselves.
EDIT: Actually asked my students. Some started doing so at nine years old.
I walked to school by myself in a suburb of KC as early as kindergarten. My grandpa was supposed to walk me across the busy 2-lane street to meet some other kids to walk with. But grandpa drank, so sometimes I had to get myself across the street. Then sometimes I missed the other kids to walk with.
By 2nd grade I was walking to school full time. Not a big deal.
We were tougher in the 70âsâŚ
Seriously. Me and my best friends used to get into all kinds of shit that is banned now, and those of us that survived turned out fine.

I think itâs more like the nightly news didnât cover child abduction stories. So you only saw it on your local news if it happened nearby.
Even before the internet, shows like 20/20 started covering the worst of the worst child abductions and freaked everyone out.

Yeah, I think it is a little column A and a little column B. Around the clock news coverage hadnât started yet so there was only so much you could scare people about in 2 hours a night and child abduction hadnât hit the top of the list yet, they werenât even doing pictures on milk cartonâs yet were they? Parenting was a lot more relaxed back then for good and bad. Hell, the cops thought our tennis ball cannon made from tin cans and lighter fluid was cool when they came upon us trying to hit a street light with one⌠And there were a lot less people around just fucking things up.
