The left block didn’t censure the last minority centrist block, but that’s a one way street. When the left does not support the next centrists, the centrists will all blame the left for the right and then won’t censure them…unless Macron just continues with an unelected minority block that he controls at the head of parliament.
And this is all after Macron spent all summer saying that NFP would be ok if only it didn’t insist on having ministers from LFI, but when LFI said they’d be fine having no ministers, Macron said ‘psyche’.
sorry but that’s not true, they just didn’t have enough votes to make it happen, they tried a few times (and there was one time just after retirement reform where it was pretty close).
And Macron has pretty much always implied since mid-July that he would not give the governement to NFP, LFI or not, only that he’d be willing to make a coalition with the more moderates among them (however noone is interested with allying with him as it would be political suicide).
In any case the developments of the last few days are absolutely not surprising and it was pretty clear since shortly after the election that this is how it would go down. The next step however is still unclear…
(I hope none of this reads as me defending Macron btw, I’m sure I’m his strongest hater on this board)

which is why i’ve heard they are pretty big influencers in local politics. the protectionism we give car dealerships in this country is ridiculous. how does the idea that i can’t buy a car online direct from the dealership make sense in the year of our lord 2024…
The writings of the person who killed three 9-year-olds and three adults at a private Christian elementary school in Nashville last year cannot be released to the public, a judge ruled.
Chancery Court Judge I’Ashea Myles found that The Covenant School children and parents hold the copyright to any writings or other works created by shooter Audrey Hale, a former student who was killed by police. As part of the effort to keep the records closed, Hale’s parents transferred ownership of Hale’s property to the victims’ families, who then argued in court that they should be allowed to determine who has access to them.
Myles recognized that claiming copyright as an exception to the Tennessee Public Records Act was a novel argument that previous courts have not ruled on. In the end, she agreed with the parents’ group, finding that “the original writings, journals, art, photos and videos created by Hale are subject to an exception to the TPRA created by the federal Copyright Act.”

I think this is becoming more common. One of the Parkland kids sued for the rights to the estate of the killer and won as well.
Yeah, here it is. He owns the rights to the killer’s name, so if anyone wants to profit off of using the name for like a murder porn show or the news or whatever has to go through him.
