so lemonade
Right but everyone knows lemonade is loaded with sugar, I donāt think people expect it to be heavily caffeinated.
What a journeyā¦in less than 24 hours. This thread is how we all hoped social media would work.
Cliffs please for those of us who donāt have twitter and canāt read whole threads
Did they figure it out yet?
Still waiting. This is the latest substantive update:
Wow. Iāve tried to Shazam pieces played on 70ās TV shows and I donāt think itās ever worked. I could figure out what it was on my own and find something close, but not the specific recording. If AI can help with this it will be worth the existential risk.
That was awesome.
the reason why is actually answered in the thread, and I learned something new:

Thatās interesting, and about as far as I had got in the thread. In an episode of Columbo (titled Identity Crisis, ironically), the killer plays a vinyl recording of this and I donāt know why, Iām not a fan of opera or anything, but it just strikes me a certain way when I see that scene. There are many recordings of it ofc, but not quite the same.

It is though
The Paneras near me all had those signs when they introduced the drinks and all of the ads for them made it clear they were called āchargedā because they had a ludicrous amount of caffeine in them.
Ours has moved the charges containers behind the counter.
Damn, I guess. Why canāt people just drink coffee like normal people instead of turbocharged lemonade?
Mine too. Although, at least in my neighborhood, Iād guess it had less to do with the risk of odāing on caffeine and more about the fact that they also used to keep loose cups by the dispensers, so a bunch of folks would act like they had the unlimited sip club thing and just grab a cup, fill up, and bounce.
Because coffee is hot and gross and lemonade is cool and refreshingā¦ Although I did find the Panera drinks so charged up that I usually did a mix of 50% lemonade/50% water and nursed one small drink over the course of the work day. I canāt imagine housing multiple glasses in a single visit.
Is it really that nefarious?
