I think I’ve got the same problem as you. Doesn’t work for me either, but works for a lot of other people still. No idea why.

hmm, can’t seem to connect in a private safari window, but connects fine outside of it. months old reddit discussion mentions dns shenanigans, so that might be it.
I’m on Chrome on a mac.
I’m on a PC with chrome. Tried that and edge. Doesn’t work on either.
If you’re on your phone on the same wifi does archive.ph load? If not, does it load if you take the phone off wifi and just use cellular data?
Also have you tried clearing the DNS cache on your PC?
To clear the DNS cache on Microsoft Windows, follow these steps:
- Open a DOS command window. To do this, click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then press Enter.
- At the command prompt, type the following flush DNS command and then press Enter: ipconfig /flushdns.
- The DNS cache is now clear.
Works on phone whether I’m on wifi or cellular data.
Will try that DNS cache thing now.
Just did it. Still doesn’t work. Exact same problem as before.
I assume you’ve rebooted recently? Does anyone else in the household have a PC or Mac and if so do they see the same issues?
Probably rebooted in the last week.
I could try on the wife and kids computers. I’ll do that and report back.
It could be the redirect from http to https. Try clicking this link with https already in it: https://archive.ph/
Clicked link and did not work. Still same error.
It’s a long shot but you might try exiting the VPN, flushing the DNS, then rebooting and try again before loading the VPN.
Also try ping archive.ph from the DOS prompt and see what it says.
