This is my non mathematical take. A zillion small counties with improved margins and improved turnout will overtake increases in turnout in the populated areas with Harris posting worse margins.

Totally non-related but I had never been to Chicago until a couple weekends ago and it was awesome from top to bottom. Meanwhile the vast majority of the country think it’s the murder and mayhem capital of the planet.
