does bad numbers for Kamala matter for turnout in NV/AZ? my intuition is that if it looks close-bad it might get more democrats to vote, but if it’s bad-bad it might hurt turnout.
Don’t worry about Fulton’s margin. Assuming patterns hold, Fulton will give a net 13,000 more votes for Kamala in 2024 compared to 2020. At the lower margin.

Right but Trump is running 1-3 points better in rural counties (per Kornacki just now) and a lot of those get added up. And I assume turnout is up there too.

my wife hated our year in NC, mainly because her boss at UNC sucked, but I still claim it was better than CA in many ways. Prove me right tar heels. gonna order cheerwine and pimento cheese if they ship it.

A group of America First groypers, college Republicans, and a Christian nationalist pastor were handing out burgers and hot dogs to voters in Phoenix on Tuesday—but only if they voted for former president Donald Trump.
The cookout took place about 100 yards from a polling station—and it was likely illegal.
The effort was organized by the far-right College Republicans United group, in association with the Patriot Party of Arizona. It began just after polls opened at the Mesa Convention Center. Groypers, the name that followers of white nationalist Nick Fuentes give themselves, were helping hand out hot dogs, burgers, and cold drinks. Manning the grill was Pastor David MacLellan, a Christian nationalist who is the chaplain for the Patriot Party of Arizona and subscribes to the extremist ideology of the Black Robe Regiment.

If the Loudoun county outlier hasn’t been replicated elsewhere, then we are doing ok.
But if it is the Muslim vote there that is hurting Harris, then alarm bells should be going off for Michigan
