I’m fucking high and I could still tell that it was obv a forward pass, but I’m fine with them letting it go and then reversing without much delay.

The problem with letting it go is that there’s a burden to overturn the call on the field, so not attempting to call the play accurately doesn’t make much sense as an operating procedure.
Huntley can’t read the pressure. Few snaps I’ve seen he is lost at knowing where the late Blitzer is.
Correct call to let that play out if there is 1% ambiguity.
Blowing those kinds of plays dead leads to the worst outcomes.
