2022 NFL Gameday Thread: C’mon Damar (Part 1)

Make up call for last week?

49ers are exposed. If they get behind and have to throw they’re screwed. Purdy aint ready.

Whoops

Purdy good play

Hope you’re right.

I feel like there is a 10% chance that Brock ends up with a Brady-like career.

The issue in the NFC is everyone else is trash

Suzzer having a Riverman-like run with the takes on this game.

Seahawks trash → SEA leads at half
Purdy trash → Dude starts making some plays

Not sure how longer those powers will last buy may want to spend some time dragging Mahomes and the Chiefs. Just in case.

One throw down the field when SEA is expecting run doesn’t mean anything. He was a mess at the end of the half. I want to see him make throws when the other team knows he has to throw, and when he’s scrambling. Garoppolo was the same. When they really needed it in the SB he couldn’t deliver.

Btw when I said they were exposed, I just meant this is the first time I’ve seen Purdy and I don’t think he has it, at least not yet. Terry Bradshaw agrees with me, and he’s never wrong.

There must be something in the super secret hidden NFL charter that says “must always fuck Detroit”.

Refs turning the screws in Q4

Man you could make a list like 20 items long with zero effort

Calvin no catch
Jim S throwing a flag on an unchallengeable play
Dude batting the ball out of the back of the end zone

It’s really just never ending.

I just think this is too premature. He’s a seventh-rounder who wasn’t expected to do anything and has had like half a season. Odds are that he doesn’t have it, because almost no one has it. So, you’ll probably be right. But he’s performing way, way above expectation. His chance of having it is way above the average drafted QB based on what we’ve already seen.

Yeah for a 7th rounder he’s doing great.

Can they start the next game early?

Not just a seventh rounder.

Maybe not “great”, but he is doing far above average for any 1st year QB.

Haha so that play will pad this dude’s fake QBR they keep touting, and it was a wide open 10-yard throw any of us could have made with 65 YAC. The throws to receivers who weren’t completely uncovered have been mega bad.

I was just thinking that he is like 3 years younger than Stetson would be playing.
