The most important thing I have learned from this game is that when the Dolphins play the Pats in NE, I’m backing up the truck on the Pats.
I guess it’s surprising at the draft, but less so after Kirk got a starting gig. All 3 of the earlier guys were taking beatings. I haven’t looked recently to see how badly Russ has damaged his legacy in terms of ANY/A, good old quarterback rating, or other non counting stats.

I would have thought that Russ had the compiler stats title in the bag, but man has he dropped off a cliff.
If nothing else, you have me curious. I haven’t really looked at Russ’s career comparisons for a few years
I haven’t looked at them ever. I’m just going by feel here. I’ll probably look them up at some point.

I was catching up on DVR and just got to this part. The whole general awkwardness of the turkey leg ceremony might have been the highlight of this broadcast for me.
Lot of replacement level QBs on today’s slate.
On Tuesday, someone jumped the fence at the stadium, stole a golf cart, and spent some time doing donuts on the playing field. The Browns described the damage as “superficial”, and said that it should be fixed by gametime. Well, it’s Sunday and, uh, the grooves are still there. The league says it’s not a playability or safety issue, so everything should be fine, but it is kind of an embarrassing look.
