2022 NFL Gameday Thread: C’mon Damar (Part 1)

If Steelers and dolphins swapped secondaries that is a Steelers blowout

Phins are basically a small bit of variance from being 1-6. And it’s not clear that they’re actually better than the one team they comfortably beat.

Definitely better than the bills though

The coaches are at like the 2006 poker stage here. They’ve figured out aggression is generally good but lack the underlying knowledge to understand why. So they’re just blasting off constantly instead of selectively based on multiple factors.

I think the models are now too aggressive at advocating for going for it because 1) we are in a lower scoring environment this year and 2) the more aggressive coaches are so far, as a cohort, absolute mouthbreathers with these 4th and short calls.

Im also not sure models differentiate correctly anymore between like 4th and a foot and 4th and 2. 4th and a foot should just be auto go for it for every team using the Eagles sneak formation, since you can push the player forward legally now that play should be functionally unstoppable.
If you dont have Jalen Hurts just snap the ball to some other athletic 6 foot 2 player on your roster.

Obama on manningcast tonight

What the hell was that opening graphic with the giant razor coming out of the field with all that dramatic music? LOL that was so ridiculous

Figures to be more entertaining than the Bears

Zappe and Jones

What a great prime time game!

crummy weather means the bears have a decent chance though, this is the only thing they’re built for

Patriots jamming the radar already.

Release the Zap

Eli / Obama shockingly good!

They’re completely ignoring the game which is probably the best part

Doesn’t Belichick usually own young QBs? Way too easy.

surprised at letting throws over the middle in this weather

that is why I love montgomery, nobody else can do that

yes, please have BB get blown out by Justin Fields
