Wow I never knew this was a thing. Just spent a long time searching people and it does indeed include donations as small as $1. Glad to reports that most of my family (parents, aunts, uncles, siblings, siblings-in-law, cousins) all donate to progressives and Dems running against vulnerable R Senate seats. The one exception is an aunt who donated a shit ton to MAGA PAC, but i knew she was a deplorable.
This does suck if Trump decides to go after us in his second or third term though.
Had no idea even small dollar donation records were all publicly available like that.
How convenient there is a nice handy database of everyone who shipped $20 to actblue while the Kochs can ship billions to absolutely anyone with zero accountability.

This means that any employer can search a potential employeeâs name and easily determine their political affiliation. Seems problematic.

Below a certain dollar amount the general public has no vested interest in who is donating to who. Let the FEC have that data to comb through to ensure everythingâs on the up and up. Donât show it to everybodyâs neighbor, employer and father-in-law.
