Conspiracies? Iām not talking about how long itās taking to count the votes, Iām talking about how the TV news is pretending this is not a race that could have been called 36 hours ago.
See it a lot in sports too. Football team down 31-0 in fourth and the commentators are saying wow this could be the start of somethingggg

Sports are a bad analogy for this.
Teams have thrown away 4-0 leads in football matches before 
and have lost Test matches after making their opponents follow on. 
Looking like the final result will be Biden 306 Trump 232. Exact reversal of 2016.

Yeah I mean itās different stakes here. Sports there isnāt really bad faith in saying that but they do it in rugby and Australian football all the time. Talk up comebacks where it isnāt happening more than once in one thousand. Just a gripe of mine.

If the number of remaining votes in PA is right on that alex github site, I wouldnāt be surprised if the Biden camp has already broken out the champagne.
Unless the fix is in, Biden should pretty easily surpass the 53.5% he needs on the remaining votes to win the presidency. Hooray for me being wrong.

I mean, this has been a march of mathematical inevitability for the last 48+ hours. Several of us have been posting that based on the deficit, the locations of the outstanding votes, and the margins we need.
I called Pennsylvania a done deal at about 4pm EST on 11/4, Vince meme and all. Then I posted some of the math.
The news is basically pretending they donāt know itās over to hold viewers, but itās been obvious for a long time that PA, and thus the election, were locked up.
But like 90% of America doesnāt even realize eitherā¦ Surreal situation.
This is wise.
Basically the news has turned into a parody of itself. Might as well be watching an SNL skit.
