I don’t think so? I mean in some of the red states the polls were a bit off for the senate. But yeah, it seems like something unique to polling people when Donald Trump is on the ballot.

This is probably nothing, but I just heard what sounded like an explosion followed by several minutes of rapid gunfire. Sounded like 1/4 to half mile from my house. (Might be further because it could have been across the river or the noise travelled down the river valley.)
Edit: been 5 minutes and no sirens so maybe just rednecks screwing around in the woods or something, weird. Also, sorry this is kind of a dumb thread for this post.
Are you in an area where it might be militia practicing?
There is a very small National Guard base (pretty much a small airstrip and parking lot) about 3 miles away, but I’ve never heard anything like this before and I’ve been here for a long time. But if it was anything bad I’m sure there would be sirens by now. Really disconcerting to hear it though - I thought for sure something bad was going down.

Right, but this was an explosion and then rapid fire gunshots for several minutes. Like dozens to maybe a hundred rounds. I grew up around guns and hunted for years and this wasn’t hunting.
